The Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify qualified small business sources who have an interest in supporting this requirement. Industry responses to this notice may determine the Government's procurement strategy. This is an unrestricted, brand-name -or- equal procurement (FAR 52.211-6) for a Spectrum Recorder - quantity required 1 each.
The Spectrum Recorder should be a Turnkey RF Player and Recorder specifically designed for GNSS capture and reproduction.
Turnkey is a RF Spectrum Recorder and Playback System with Recording Frequency of 20 MHz to 14 GHz."
Requirements for a Spectrum Recorder
Required Spectrum Recorder -or- equal product must include the following:
RF Capture and Record
•· Contiguous RF signal recording
•· Long duration recording
•· Preview signals prior to record
•· 50MHz - 3.3GHz Tuning Range
•· 50MHz/channel maximum record bandwidth (defaults to 30MHz/chan for GPS @ startup)
•· Native recording to file format according to SL Standard 001, Raw Binary Essence
Waveform Review and Analysis
•· Waveform file spectrum analyzer
•· Variable speed waveform playback to screen
•· Import waveform files
•· Trim and export waveform files
•· Option to export to either NI TDMS or SL Standard 001 Raw Binary Essence file format
RF Reproduction and Playback
•· Continuous waveform streaming
•· Unlimited duration streaming
•· Native playback of any signal recording compliant to file format: SL Standard 001, Raw
•· Binary Essence
•· Center frequency tracking (defaults to GPS L1/L2 frequencies upon startup)
•· RF power level tracking
•· 50MHz - 6.6GHz Tuning Range
•· 100MHz/channel maximum reproduction bandwidth
Interested vendors capable of furnishing the government with the requirement should submit the necessary capability statement.
