The Library of Congress requires manufacturer-authorized maintenance and ongoing technical and software support for the SpectraLogic T120 data tape robot.
Requirements:
--4-hour response time to service or support inquiries
--24-hour turnaround time for any parts needed for repair
--Onsite service by factory-authorized and -trained service personnel in the event of mechanical failure or failure to function properly
--All software updates provided by the manufacturer during period of performance
--24-hours-a-day, 365-days-a-year access to manufacturer-provided service personnel by telephone and e-mail to troubleshoot problems as well as provide issue remediation
--Contractor shall have a ticketing system to track issues
--All software, hardware, and repair functions by manufacturer-trained or -authorized personnel
--Coverage to include all hardware and software associated with the SpectraLogic T120 including data tape drives, required software and firmware updates, online and phone call support
--Maintaining all mechanical parts of the robot in good working order, including any necessary site visits by factory-authorized service personnel to bring the equipment to good working order.
