Specific Service Signing Program
The Department is releasing this Request for Qualifications/Request for Proposals (RFQ-RFP) to obtain Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from firms for the continuation, expansion, marketing, funding, maintenance, and management of its Program.
The scope of work for the Program requires that the successful firm (hereinafter referred to as the Consultant or Program
Manager) assume administration, refurbishing ten (10) percent of all existing mainline and ramp sign panels per
year for the duration of the contract, marketing the program and erection of and maintenance of all associated
signage to provide motorists with directional information to business establishments offering gas, food, lodging,
camping, attractions and 24-hour pharmacy services. The Program Manager will also be expected to implement
roll-over signing where appropriate as approved by the Federal Highway Administration.
