Special Education Mediation Service
The State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction is initiating this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals from interested Consultants to serve as OSPI‟S administrative agent in providing statewide special education mediation services, meeting facilitation training and other services as identified by OSPI. The RFP establishes a competitive bidding process open to both private and public entities. The successful entity awarded the contract is required to meet the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2004 (IDEA) requirements, Washington Administrative Code (WAC) special education regulations and all Washington state laws governing mediation. This RFP does not hinder one or more entities in submitting a joint proposal.
