Spare Parts for Various BEP Equipment
This IS NOT a request for bids, quotes or proposal. This is a sources sought announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from all qualified sources. No award may be issued from this Request for Information Notice.
Interested parties of any size may submit a response to this notice.
Description: The Bureau of Engraving and Printing's mission is to develop and produce United States currency notes, trusted worldwide. BEP's vision is to be the world standard securities printer providing its customers and the public with superior products through excellence in manufacturing and innovation. As its primary function, the BEP prints billions of dollars - referred to as Federal Reserve notes - each year for delivery to the Federal Reserve System.
As part of manufacturing Federal Reserve notes, various equipment are used by BEP for currency manufacturing and printing process. The highly-specialized equipment are as follow:
- Intaglio Press
- Super Numerota
- New COPE
- SUSI
- SOI
- LEPE
Above equipment requires spare parts for repair and maintenance and are listed (by equipment type) in the attached Parts List. These spare parts will be ordered by BEP on a recurring basis. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing is in search of vendor(s) who can provide these spare parts to the manufacturing sites located in Washington DC and Fort Worth TX facilities.
In response to this Request for Information, the BEP requests vendor(s) address the following:
TECHNICAL Requirements:
- Please describe your company's capabilities on how your company can provide all the spare parts for this requirement.
- Please provide the following: Company name, address, phone number, primary contact(s), email address, ALL applicable NAICS code(s), business size (i.e., small/large), company's socioeconomics (i.e., woman-owned, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, HUB Zone, 8(a), etc.) and DUNS Number.
PRICING:
- Would you be able to provide price quote for all the spare parts listed in the attachments?
