The objective of the South West LHIN Supply Chain Management Cooperative (SCMC) in
undertaking the Integrated Supply Chain Management Initiative is to examine opportunities for
further integration and collaboration among the alliances and hospital sites within the LHIN, in
order to take advantage of operational synergies within the region and to realize cost savings that
can be re-directed to patient care.
