Sources Sought for the renovation of the rigging system in the Eisenhower Hall Theatre @ the United States Military Academy, West Point, NY
THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION but a SOURCES SOUGHT. The government is looking for HUB-ZONE BUSINESS CONCERNS ONLY to perform the following work at Eienhower Hall Theatre @ West Point, NY. The government is interested in replacing, in part or whole, the manual counterweight line set system. This may include a motorized main curtain, motorized orchestra shells, motorized electrics (variable speed), replacement of the projection screen, and integration of a new motorized fire curtain. The government has a design package which will address the required work and specifications.
To ensure a successful, safe installation the awarded contractor should employ the services of an Entertainment Technician Certification Program (ETCP) Certified rigging installer. This entity would in turn supply the materials and do the installation, safely, correctly, and to code.
The awarded contractor should also field verify ALL dimensions, again, to ensure a successful installation with a minimum of lost time and confusion between manufacturer and client.
