This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) and the solicitation number is W81XWH-14-T-0281. This acquisition is unrestricted. The NAICS code covering this procurement is 519190 and the Small Business Size Standard is $25.5M.
Please see attached solicitation document W81XWH-14-T-0281 with incorporated provisions and clauses and the Statement of Need (SON). This combined synopsis/solicitation will be acquired under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal. Under each item listed below will be the brand name requested and the salient characteristics of equal items.
The Medical Research Material Command (MRMC) is renewing maintenance service for its McAfee Intrushield 4010 Network Security Platform, three McAfee Copper Gigabit Fail-Open Kits, and one redundant Power Supply.

2. Objectives
The objectives of this requirement are described in paragraph 3 under products and maintenance services. All quotations of brand name items shall be considered technically acceptable. All quotations submitted with an equivalent item(s) shall provide a matrix with supporting text that identifies how the equivalent item(s) meet the requirements of the salient characteristics. Quotations shall include all costs associated with delivery.

Quotes shall be submitted electronically to the CS, Jeremy Calligan at [email protected]. The due date for quotes will be July 16 by 4:00pm EST.
Period of performance: Period of Performance will be a Base plus four Option Years.
Quote Acceptance Period. The quote acceptance period is 90 days after the date set for receipt of quotes. The offeror shall make a clear statement in the signed offer that the quote is valid until this period has ended. The quote should be legible and should not exceed a total of 25 pages. The Offeror shall submit their quote as Firm Fixed Price.
