Sources Sought for Mattress Refurbishment.
Fort Bliss has a requirement for refurbished mattresses (twin size) to be used in the barracks. The mattresses to be refurbished shall meet the following specifications:
Mattress 38X80
Refurbish Mattress shall be disinfected before refurbish starts
All material used needs to be new of first quality
Mattress Nylon Cover shall meet the following:
o Fungal Resistant
o Fluid resistant
o Non-allergic
o Stains and tear resistant
o Anti bed bug
o Odor free
Mattress fabric needs to meet the following:
o Bacteria resistance -Testing Method
o Flame Resistant (Passes Federal Flammability Standards)
o 170lbs Tear Strength
o Skin Irritation and Allergic test passed
o Passes moisture vapor
Approximately 800 Government owned mattresses will be refurbished total.
