Notice of intent to Sole Source
This is a notification that the Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed price contract under statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements to SDL Government. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 511210, with a small business size standard of $38.5M. The requirement is for Annual Software Support/Maintenance for SDL Trados Studio 2014 Professional.
The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price contract and will commence upon award.
This notice is not a request for quotations. The contractor identified is the only known source for the subject requirement. Reponses to this notification will be used to determine if bona fide competition exists. Any such responses must be in writing and include technical information. The Government will not pay for information submitted. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement action, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
