The Government is seeking information regarding industry's capability to provide the commercial part, HG9740DU4, CAGE: 0BFA5, Control Unit, Navigation Set. This Request for Information (RFI) is for planning purposes only, and shall not be considered as an Invitation for Bid, Request for Quotation, or Request for Proposal, or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Your response to this RFI will be treated as information only. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this announcement or the Government use of such information. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or part, any contractor input resulting from this request. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposal or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. No funds have been authorized, appropriated, or received for this effort. Parties responding to this RFI are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI or to otherwise pay for the information submitted in response to this RFI.

Responses should include unit pricing, any quantity price breaks, lead time to produce the units and any special requirements associated with the HG9740DU4.

Company information will be verified via the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Responses to this RFI must be unclassified and should not exceed 5 pages in length, be prepared on 8.5 x 11 inch paper, double spaced with fonts no smaller than 10 point, and one inch margins. Each page of the submission shall contain the document identifier in the document header. Responses are preferred in soft-copy form in either Microsoft® Word® and/or Microsoft PowerPoint®. If a soft-copy cannot be provided, written responses will be accepted. Responses may be provided through mail or via e-mail. Respondents should ensure labeling of information contained as proprietary.

All interested firms are encouraged to respond to this notice by providing the information specified herein, on or before 1700 hours on 27 SEP 2019. Telephone or email requests for additional information will not be honored. Any UNCLASSIFIED questions regarding this RFI may be posted to the FEDBIZOPS.
