This notice is to announce that VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS) has an impending requirement to award a Fixed-Price contract to provide Bus Transportation Services for the Department of Veterans Affairs Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System.
Requirements: Transportation services shall include a minimum of two (2) vehicles, year 2016 or newer with the capacity to provide transportation for up to forty-four (44) seated passengers, a minimum of two (2) wheelchair passengers, wifi, and bathroom facilities.
The Contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, transportation services, vehicles, vehicle maintenance, fuel, supplies, insurance, training, route updates and equipment necessary to safely transport authorized Veterans and Caregivers to and from the Veteran s verified appointments.
Two Routes:
Route #1 Bakersfield to VA Los Angeles Healthcare System, with stops at Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center when applicable.
Route #2 San Luis Obispo to VA Los Angeles Healthcare System, with stops at Oxnard Community Based Outpatient Clinic and VA Sepulveda when applicable.
A solicitation will be issued on or about May 20, 2019. The resulting contract will be for a base year and
four (4) one-year option periods.
