This notice is posted in accordance with FAR 5.2.
This ACQUISITION is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
The NAICS code is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the Size Standard is $36.5M.
In accordance with FAR 4.1102 and DFAR 252.204-7004, Alternate A, System for Award Management (SAM); the contractor must be registered in SAM prior to award. Offerors may obtain information on registration at https://www.sam.gov.
This is a new requirement to repair by replace four boilers in building 210 on Schriever AFB, CO. This requirement will prevent frequent repairs required by the current boilers and can save energy on Schriever AFB, CO. The location of this work will be performed at Schriever AFB, Colorado 80912-5006.
The 50th Contracting Squadron intends to award a contract with a 180 day period of performance for this project after Notice to Proceed (NTP).
The estimated magnitude of the entire contract is between $250,000 and $500,000.
NOTES:
1. The solicitation with the official specifications and drawings will be available on the GPE on or about 4 April 2018 posted at https://www.fbo.gov. The tentative date for the receipt of proposals is 8 May 2018. A physical site visit for this project will be scheduled for all potential offerors, the time and date is yet to be determined but will be listed in the official solicitation.
"Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs."
Physical copies of the solicitation and all accompanying specifications will not be provided. All documents for this project will be uploaded to https://www.fbo.gov.
2. The contractor shall provide a signed copy of the SF 1442 and acknowledge and/or sign all amendments at the time and place specified in the solicitation for receipt of proposals. There will not be a public opening. All proposals shall be delivered in the method and by the time specified in the SF 1442. Proposals delivered shall be marked to show the offeror's name and address, contact number, the solicitation number, and the date and time the proposals are due.
3. Contractors shall be capable of securing bonding for the total proposed amount.
4. Contractors that are debarred or suspended are excluded from receiving contracts.
