5. DESCRIPTION:
The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, and materials necessary to perform tree pruning, limb, tree, stump, brush and insect pest removal, and emergency tree services and palm tree pruning primarily in the Industrial Areas on all Army installations on the island of Oahu, i.e., Fort Shafter, Tripler Army Medical Center, Aliamanu Military Reservation, Schofield Barracks, Wheeler Army Airfield, Helemano Military Reservation, Kipapa Army Storage Area, Pilila'au Army Recreation Center, and Kahuku Training Area. Services shall be performed in accordance with the ANSI A300 Standards, Part 1, American National Standard for Tree Care Operations-Tree, Shrub and Other Woody Plant Maintenance Standard Practices, and shall comply with all local, state, and Federal regulations.
6. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE:
Award is anticipated in November with a one-year base period and four (4) one-year option periods.
7. SET-ASIDE:
This procurement is a small business set-aside.
