U.S. Air Force Command & Control (C2) systems host dozens of communications systems operating on aircraft ranging from business class to larger commercial passenger based derivatives. Many of these communication systems will operate in the same or similar frequency bands. This can lead to co-channel (co-site) interference among those channels. These effects are mitigated in a number of ways, including filtering. The objective of this Sources Sought is to obtain information on filtering solutions that can support a new waveform operating in the UHF band while providing the performance required to meet intelligibility requirements on a business class jet.

Interested parties may contact the Contracts Manager, Capt Shane Boulware (shane.boulware.1@us.af.mil), to request the Filtering Solutions Information Document (FSID), which specifies the requirement in greater detail.  To be eligible to receive the FSID, interested parties must send its full company name, CAGE code, and a point of contact.  Once the interested party has been verified, the Hanscom Contracting Office will email the Sources Sought via the Aviation and Missile Research, Development and Engineering Center (AMRDEC) system.  Requests received after 3:00PM EST will be processed the following business day.  Please note: Files sent via AMRDEC are titled "AMRDEC Safe Access File Exchange Delivery Notice" and the e-mail sender is No-Reply@amrdec.army.mil.
