Proposals are requested in reponse to Solicitation Number FA4610-14-R-0002, for Solid Waste Collection services at Vandenberg AFB (VAFB), California 93437. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, vehicles, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform municipal solid waste (MSW) and recycling collections at Government-designated sites within the boundaries of VAFB. The proposed period of performance includes a one-year base period (1 Nov 2014 - 31 Oct 2015), four one-year option periods (extending through 31 Oct 2019), and a 6 month extension period (extending through 30 Apr 2020). The option periods and the extension period, if utilized, are to be exercised at the unilateral right of the Government. Refer to the posted solicitation for proposal due dates.
This requirement is a 100% set-aside for small business. The NAICS code is 562111, Solid Waste Collections, and the size standard is $35.5M. This acquisition will be procured pursuant to the requirements in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Par 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation. All potential offerors are reminded that in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.204-7, System for Award Management, lack of registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) will make an offeror ineligible for contract award.
