Solid Waste & Recycling, Leavenworth CMOP
The Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 15 has a need for solid waste removal and old corrugated cardboard recycling services in Leavenworth, Kansas, for one base year with the option to extend up to four additional years for a total of five years.
Services to be performed include the lease two containers and one compactor, removal of solid waste and recycled cardboard, and delivery to landfill and recycling centers for appropriate disposition, along with a capability to respond within 24-hours for additional, unscheduled pickups. This procurement requires the lease of one-each, 4 cubic yard and 8-cubic yard solid waste containers, and one each 40-cubic yard, self-contained compactor. Timely responses for scheduled and unscheduled pickups are critical to the operation of the facility due to its high volume workloads. The Leavenworth Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) also requires the removal and marketing of baled, old corrugated cardboard (OCC) recycling from the facility
These requirements shall be performed in accordance with all federal, state, local and commercial standards and the Specifications. The solicitation will be made available on or about 10 January 2017, and will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. THIS PROCURMENT IS UNDER NAICS CODE 562111 WITH A SIZE STANDARD OF $38.5 Million. This solicitation will be set-aside for Small Businesses; however preference is given to SDVOSB and VOSB contractors that meet evaluation criteria and are price reasonable.
