The VA Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) intends to issue a commercial solicitation, 36C77019Q0250, for non-hazardous solid waste collection services and marketing/recycling of baled cardboard for the Charleston CMOP.
The solicitation will be issued as a Total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Contractors must be certified SDVOSB and maintain current status in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) website to be eligible for the set aside. To register, the VIP Internet address is https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 562111 and the applicable Small Business Size Standard, as established by the U.S. Small Business Administration, is $38,500,000.
The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract, consisting of a base year and four one-year options, to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the requirements of the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government considering price, technical, and past performance.
The solicitation will be issued via Internet only on Feb Biz Opps at http://www.fbo.gov. Solicitation issue date is on or about 21 January 2019. Quotes are anticipated to be due on or about 15 February 2019. Contractors must be registered and current with System for Award Management (SAM) in order to receive a Government contract award. To register, the SAM Internet address is: http://www.sam.gov.
Prospective offerors shall submit questions and inquiries related to this solicitation to the Contracting Officer. Information about arranging onsite visits will be included in the solicitation.
Bidders will receive an acknowledgement of their questions via e-mail, followed by an answer to their question after it has been processed.
