The National Park Service (NPS) has issued Amendment No. 3 to the Solicitation of GLBA001-15. This Amendment No. 3 replaces the existing Principal Selection Factor 4 contained in the Proposal Package with the revised language.
The Service has clarified the required financial information to be submitted under each Subfactor in Principal Selection Factor 4 with this revised language. No additional information is required under the revised language. The Subfactors have been reorganized for clarity.
Any proposal, including that of the existing Concessioner, must be received by the Concession Program Manager, National Park Service, Alaska Region, 240 W. 5th Avenue, Room 114, Anchorage, AK 99501, on Tuesday, October 21, 2014, no later than 4:00 p.m. (Alaska Time) in order to be evaluated and considered for award of a Concession Contract.
The NPS has issued the Prospectus beginning Monday, June 23, 2014, under the terms described in the Prospectus. The existing Concession Contract between the NPS and the existing Concessioner expires on September 30, 2015. The Director, pursuant to 36 C.F.R. Part 51, has determined that the existing Concessioner is NOT a preferred Offeror for the Contract to be awarded. The term of the new Concession Contract will be for ten (10) years.
Prospectus packages are available by contacting Tamela Perry, Concessions Management Specialist, Alaska Region, via email to [email protected] or by phone at (907) 644-3361. The Prospectus is also available online at the following website: http://concessions.nps.gov/index.htm. If you choose to retrieve a copy of the Prospectus from the NPS website, please notify Tamela Perry so you are placed on the mailing list to receive notifications of any future modifications or other correspondence.
A one-day site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, July 30, 2014.
