Sole Source checkpoint Technologies Solid Immersion Lenses
The Army Contracting Command-Redstone is soliciting a quote. In order for a quote to be accepted, the vendor must provide historical pricing data such as copies of previous invoices or purchase orders to support fair and reasonable pricing. Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Number W31P4Q-18-Q-0003 is to be a Sole-Source procurement to Checkpoint Technologies LLC of San Jose, California, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) for soliciting from a single source in that the circumstances of the contract action make only one source reasonably available. The corresponding NAICS code for this procurement is 333314. The US Army Contracting Command-Redstone is soliciting a quote from Checkpoint Technologies LLC, for the purchase of the following items for its existing Checkpoint Technologies LLC InfraScan 400TDM Scanning Optical Microscope (SOM).:
One (1) each Solid Immersion Lens Tip 2.45 Numerical Aperture, Gallium Arsenide, 100 um part number 02-13358-0000.
One (1) each Solid Immersion Lens Tip 2.6 Numerical Aperture, Gallium Arsenide, 100 um part number 15-14181-0000.
One (1) each Solid Immersion Lens Tip 3.3 Numerical Aperture, Gallium Arsenide, 100 um part number 01-17967-0000.
The following are the salient characteristics of the Checkpoint Technologies gimbal table:
a) All SIL lens must be compatible with Checkpoint Technologies LLC InfraScan 400TDM Scanning Optical Microscope
b) 2.45 numerical aperture (NA) GaAs 100 μm SIL
c) 2.6 NA GaAs 100 μm SIL
d )3.3 NA GaAs 100 μm SIL
These SILs are specific to the Checkpoint Technologies SOM, and no other SILs will work with this system.

Any award resulting from this RFQ will be issued on Standard Form 1449 and will contain all clauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award. In the event more than one quote is received, the following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technical capability of the items offered to meet the Government requirement, price, and delivery. All items shall include shipping costs FOB Destination to Redstone Arsenal, AL. Payment will be made via Wide Area Workflow.
