Solar PV Installation
The University has received approximately $52,000 of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) funding to install a solar PV system at the Baseball Stadium. The project is intended to be an education and demonstration project that promotes the Universitys commitment to renewable energy and increases awareness of solar energy to stadium visitors. The University will be contracting for the design, installation and commissioning of a 5 KW or greater solar PV system. In order to maximize the impact of the project and funding, the University is seeking proposals to identify potential installation locations, size and performance as part of the selection process.
