The County Airport Commission intends to select a solar developer to finance, design, construct, install, operate, and maintain new ground-mounted photovoltaic (PV) systems at the Regional Airport (“Airport”). Two (2) potential sites totaling approximately fifty (50+/-) acres of property have been identified and have received preliminary approval from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for solar development on the airport property as described in this RFP.
