Project Information
The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) seeks the services of a qualified HUBZone Small Business for the Solar Array Study at the Ramey Job Corps Center in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico
The work includes a site assessment and a feasibility study for constructing a solar array and storage and other backup power alternatives on the main campus of the Ramey Job Corps Center to provide a range of practical alternatives for its electrical requirements. This new project will also characterize the condition of the existing Solar Array system in detail and produce recommendations and a basis of design for a follow-on project to reduce or eliminate dependence on the Electrical Utility. Included recommendations will fully satisfy related Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA) requirements. In addition, the report will include an estimate of probable costs of construction to install all identified systems and locations.
Who May Respond
Interest in this solicitation announcement is open to all HUBZone certified small businesses relative to the primary NAICS code 541990 with a Small Business Standard of $15.0 million. The magnitude of this procurement is between $25,000. and 100,000.
