Software licenses and renewal of annual maintenance for XPP software.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with SDL XyEnterprise, 30 New Crossing Rd, Reading, MA, 01867 for software licenses and renewal of annual maintenance for XPP software. This procurement is being made under the authority of FAR 13.106 (b) "Soliciting from a single source". The acquisition will be a sole source as SDL XyEnterprise is the only source known to the Government that sells the XPP software and maintenance that the BLS can use. The Government anticipates award of a single, firm-fixed price purchase order for a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. The period of performance will be from 02/01/2019 - 01/31/2020 for the base year and 4 one year increments starting 02/01 each year and going through 01/31/2024. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement
This is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all interested sources, who believe they can meet the requirement may submit a capability statement no later than January 25, 2019 to the point of contact for this notice. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement and will be at the sole discretion of the Contracting Officer.
