The purpose of this project is to contract for the acquisition, installation and support of a software inventory system that has the ability to auto-detect and categorize installed software applications on all City PCs, Servers, Laptops and other City devices that house software applications. The software will also provide the ability to audit PC software applications on demand, for the purpose of validating proof of software licensing compliance and to track software moves, changes, version upgrades and removals.
