REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
The State of Maine Department of Education is seeking proposals for software development for a comprehensive integrated data management system that will meet the data collection and reporting needs of the Department and have the capability of meeting the student information system (SIS) needs of the local School Administrative Units.

Bidders Conference: July 19, 2007 starting at 1:00 p.m. local time , at the Burton M. Cross State Office Building, 111 Sewall Street, Augusta (First Floor, Room 105).
Written Questions : due no later than 4:00 pm local time, July 20, 2007
Completed proposals must be received no later than 2:00 p.m. local time August 8, 2007 at the following address: Division of Purchases, Burton M. Cross Building (Fourth Floor); 111 Sewall Street; 9 State House Station, Augusta, ME 04333-0009.
We do NOT accept faxed proposals. Proposal packages must be clearly marked Proposals: Maine Education Data Management System (MEDMS). One (1) signed original and ten (10) paper copies as well as one copy in electronic format using Microsoft Word should be provided. Anyone able to provide the services is eligible to bid. The State of Maine reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals.
