Software Development Services
The City is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide Software Development Services. The Developer will provide and customize the City Fire Department with a Preplan information management system for fire service professionals. The system will manage information regarding incidents, building structures, suppression systems, hazardous materials, water/hydrant access, and other important details for attending to incidents and making tactical decisions. The application will be developed to run from a web server and accessed via browser on any modern, internet enabled device. The connection will be secured with an SSL certificate and standard user authentication. This proposal intends for a linux/apache/php/mysql (LAMP) environment, but can be modified to target another environment if the existing infrastructure requires it. LAMP is recommended as it has a comparatively faster development time and lower hosting costs versus other environments.
