Introduction
The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) is accepting proposals for providing an interface with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Divisions (SLED) National Crime Information Center (NCIC) system. This interface will allow any Law Enforcement officer with access to the NCIC system the capability of inquiring on Boat and Motor registration maintained by SCDNR. The terms of this Request for Proposals (RFP) are for a fixed-price solution for services as defined in this RFP. The Offerors fixed-price solution for this RFP must provide a total price; the Offeror is expecting the State to pay for the successful services provided. The DNR will not be liable for any additional cost over and above the total price agreed to by both parties.
Overview
The objective of this RFP is to provide development assistance services to the SCDNR in developing a custom interface to SCDNRs stored Boat and Motor registration information. Specifically, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) seeks to utilize this interface to allow NCIC access to SCDNR data via their Law Enforcement Management System (LEMS) switch. This capability will allow any Law Enforcement Officer with NCIC access to retrieve information on Boats and Motors registered with SCDNR for operation on SC waterways. This is a contract for services.
