The ALABAMA DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES, (hereinafter referred to as DHR) is seeking a
qualified Vendor to serve as managing agency of the Social Services Block Grant (SSBG) - Disaster Relief
Program to provide services that address social and health services of individuals and families impacted by
2005 hurricanes Katrina and Rita. However, in lieu of a single Vendor, multiple Vendors may be considered.
SSBG funds may be utilized for repairs, renovation or construction of health care facilities, mental health
facilities, child care centers and other social services facilities affected by hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
