The Marine Corps Logistics Command, Contracts Department (S1940), intends to solicit and contract with Savage Range Systems, Inc. of Westfield, MA on a sole-source basis for the repair of a government owned snail bullet trap. A Justification and Approval document is attached to this notice. No solicitation will be posted on this website for the requirement. Any potential source may contact the persons indicated above to discuss their ability to perform these services for future requirements.


 


CLIN 0001:  Repair of one Model 850 (60" Wide) Snail Trap.  The Trap will be restored to factory new condition.

(5) Award Procedures - The Government will solicit and award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for commercial services under the simplified acquisition threshold. The anticipated award date is 16 November 2017.

STATEMENT OF WORK


Repair of Savage Range Systems 60" Snail Bullet Trap


1.   Scope:




 


Return Savage Range System's 60", model 850 Snail Bullet Trap for modification and repairs as follows:


 


Arrange for pick-up of the trap aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, GA.
Inspect the Trap and advise the Contracting Officer if any work not included in this Statement may be required for trap restoration. Do not affect any additional repairs without specific written authorization (by contract modification) to proceed.
Remove all damaged sections, fabricate and install new sections to replace those removed. Bottom section will be made from 1" thick AR500 and will continue beyond the curve of the first quadrant and scroll. Remainder of the quadrant will be ½" AR500. Remove and replace upper impact ramp. 
Repair damage to front trough.
Modify and add casters to all four legs maintaining current trap height.
Return the trap in like-new condition to the Marine Corps.


 

2.  ENTERPRISE-WIDE CONTRACTOR MANPOWER REPORTING APPLICATION (ECMRA):

 

The contractor shall report ALL contractor labor hours (including subcontractor labor hours) required for performance of services provided under this contract for CLINs 0001-0004 and 1001 - 1004 via a secure data collection site. The contractor is required to completely fill in all required data fields using the following web address https://doncmra.nmci.navy.mil .

 

Reporting inputs will be for the labor executed during the period of performance during each Government fiscal year (FY), which runs October 1 through September 30. While inputs may be reported any time during the FY, all data shall be reported no later than October 31 of each calendar year. Contractors may direct questions to the help desk, linked at https://doncmra.nmci.navy.mil."
