The STATE OF MONTANA, Commissioner of Securities and Insurance ("State") is seeking a contractor to provide health insurance products to small businesses participating in the Insure Montana program throughout the State of Montana. The intent of this proposal is to establish a contract with one insurer for the purpose of providing small businesses participating in the Insure Montana program a means to access the benefits of a large group insurance program. A more complete description of the services to be provided is found in Section 3. All data necessary to provide an offer, including demographic, statistical, current plans, coverage type, experience, etc. can be found in Appendix D.
1.2CONTRACT PERIOD
The contract period is two year(s), beginning January 1, 2012 and ending December 31, 2014 inclusive. The parties may mutually agree to a renewal of this contract in one-year intervals, or any interval that is advantageous to the State. This contract, including any renewals, may not exceed a total of seven years, at the State's option.
