The U. S. Government is cancelling this IFB in accordance with FAR14.404-1 "Cancellation of Invitations After Opening" for solicitation FA5004-14-B-0003. The U.S Government is anticipating posting a Request for Information in the fall of 2014 with a resolicitation around the spring of 2015.
2. The Government has determined that this bid must be cancelled on the following grounds in accordance with FAR 14.404-1(c):
(1) Inadequate or ambiguous specifications were cited in the invitation;
(4) The invitation did not provide for consideration of all factors of cost to the Government, such a cost of transporting Government-furnished property to bidders' plants.
(10) For other reasons, cancellation is clearly in the public's interest
