Single Skin Reverse Tainter Culvert Valves and Struts
The Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (Corporation) plans to purchase eight (8) new single-skin reverse tainter culvert valves and struts. The valves and struts will be fabricated of structural steel to the Corporation's design. The approximate dimensions of each valve are 14 ft. high by 12 ft. wide by 16 ft. long, with an estimated weight of approximately 32,000 lbs. each. The approximate dimensions of each strut range from 14" diameter by 50 ft. to 65 ft. long, with an estimated weight ranging from approximately 8,000 to 10,000 lbs. each. The Corporation plans to order a minimum of two (2) valves and struts prior to September 30, 2014, with an option to order any or all of the remaining valves and struts as funding is available prior to September 30, 2016. Delivery of the first two (2) valves with struts will be required by July 31, 2015.
The solicitation will be available on the FBO website on or about July 7, 2014 with a response date of approximately August 8, 2014. Award of a firm fixed price contract with economic price adjustment will be made on or about August 25, 2014. This is a total small business set aside procurement.
