This is a presolicitation notice that the Government intends to solicit bids for the subject acquisition on or about August 12, 2019. NO SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS, OR DRAWINGS ARE AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME; therefore, do NOT request a copy of a solicitation as that will be forthcoming on or about August 12, 2019. Plans will be posted at time of solicitation and will be available for inspection without charge via the Government Point of Entry website, fbo.gov.


Project Schedule (the following dates are tentative and are subject to change):
Aug 12, 2019: Solicitation / Invitation For Bid Posted
Sep 13, 2019: Bid opening (all bids must be received prior to this date)
Sep 30, 2019: Final Award
Nov 15, 2019: Notice To Proceed
Sep 10, 2020: All work completed. Contract closeouts and final submittals complete


In accordance with FAR 36.204(g), the estimated value of the resulting contract is expected to be between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
The resulting contract type is expected to be a Firm-Fixed Price.
The NAICS Code is 237310 - Highway, Street and Bridge Construction, the size standard is $36.5 million, and the Product Service Code is Y1LB-Construction of Highways, Roads, Streets, Bridges, and Railways.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This is a requirement to conduct approximately 698,522 sq ft of paving repairs and construction of a 36,574 sq ft parking lot at Sierra Army Depot (SIAD). These repairs are essential in maintaining the infrastructure in order to preserve the operational capabilities of the base.


These construction and repairs are on 12 disparate roadways and parking lots throughout the base to include some speciality aircraft runway repairs.


All work is standard paving and repair work. The use of the Marshall Mix Design Method is required.
