Sidewalk and Curb Construction and Appurtenances
The consultant shall provide survey, engineering, permitting, contract document preparation and construction cost estimating for the Sidewalk construction project. Consultant shall provide a list of required permits in the proposal and identify any potential exposures that could delay a 2013 construction. The construction project includes removal of existing concrete and bituminous concrete sidewalk and curbing, the construction of 5’ wide concrete sidewalk with granite curbing with related transportation infrastructure and landscaping The related transportation infrastructure includes constructing several sections of low pre-cast concrete block retaining/planter walls adjacent to new sidewalk with associated landscaping. All crosswalks and the side streets (within project area)will be upgraded to meet current ADA standards.
