Side Impact and Other FMVSS Testing
PART I - THE SCHEDULE
SECTION B ‑ SUPPLIES OR SERVICES AND PRICES/COSTS
The Contractor shall provide all qualified personnel, facilities, services, materials, supplies, and equipment (unless identified as Government Furnished Property (GFP), as described in Section H.1 of this contract) necessary to perform the inspection, dynamic testing, and reporting services for full-scale vehicle side impact movable deformable barrier (MDB) crash testing and side impact oblique rigid pole crash testing for the New Car Assessment Program (NCAP), indicant testing in accordance with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 301, "Fuel system integrity," and FMVSS No. 305, "Electric-powered vehicles: electrolyte spillage and electrical shock protection" And supplemental NCAP child dummy and side air bag out-of-position testing.
The Compliance Test Programs consist of the effort described in Section C, Statement of Work (SOW), of this contract. Tests will be ordered through the issuance of delivery orders under this contract, except for the known requirement tests in Section B.4. Each of these tests for the known requirement will be included in the awarded contract of the awardee with the lowest fixed price for that respective test.
B.1 TYPE OF CONTRACT
This is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract under which Firm-Fixed Price Delivery Orders will be issued.
