This project is a renourishment of the Delray Beach and Ocean Ridge segments of the Palm Beach County, Florida, Shore Protection Project (SPP). The Federally authorized project covers the Palm Beach County shoreline from the Martin County Line to Lake Worth Inlet and from South Lake Worth Inlet to the Broward County line. The Delray Beach Segment consists of restoration of approximately 2.65 miles of beach between Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) reference monument numbers R-175 and R-188.5. The Ocean Ridge segment consists of restoration of approximately 1.4 miles of beach between FDEP reference monument numbers R-152 and R-159. Each beach fill segment shall have a constructed beach berm referencing the Construction Baseline (CBL). The offshore borrow area for each segment is generally directly offshore of the project fill area. Work also includes, but is not limited to, beach tilling, construction/vibration controls and monitoring, turbidity monitoring, sea turtle trawl sweeping and relocation, endangered species observers, sea turtle monitoring or coordination, and beach fill remediation.

Magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000.00 and $15,000,000.00.
The Request for Proposal will be issued on 14 August 2019, and proposals will be due on 13September 2019. The award of the task order will be made on the basis of Lowest Price Technical Acceptable (LPTA). The technical evaluation factors are availability of technically acceptable plant and equipment and past performance. See attached request for proposal for submission requirements.
