The Internal Communications department is seeking a qualified and experienced firm
to assist with the migration, design and implementation of a intranet using Microsoft
SharePoint 2010 on a web hosted platform which will include a forms repository,streaming video services, RSS function so that RSS feeds can be created and
distributed with the AUTHORITY digital signage system, and functionality with
Microsoft Outlook so that calendars can be updated and used both in SharePoint and
Outlook. Based on permission and approval levels, AUTHORITY staff will be able to
upload and maintain departmental business information, link to other AUTHORITY
applications, and communicate cross-functionally and intra-departmentally with other
AUTHORITY employees using the new features provided by a SharePoint 2010
intranet website. Other SharePoint functionality may be required and/or suggested
pending discovery and requirements gathering sessions. This project will be in two
phases.
