PRON: AX7F6084AX. The Government proposes to acquire, on a firm-fixed Price, five year, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, with a quantity of 200 minimum/1,000 maximum each of SHAFT ASSY, TAIL ROT; NSN: 1615-01-388-1326; applicable to the AH-64 (Apache) weapon system.

Production Lead Time for 200 each, WITH FIRST ARTICLE TESTING, is 575 Days After Contract Award (DACA), with deliveries to NEW CUMBERLAND, PA 17070-5002.

This item is limited to THE BOEING COMPANY, CAGE CODE: 8V613, P/N 7-211350006-5 AND GOODRICH CORPORATION, CAGE CODE: 99551, P/N 19E203-2ACL107.

This part must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. As a result, this acquisition is currently being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2) having only a limited number of responsible sources.

All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website: http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casldba.casl_cmo_samsar and looking under Standardized Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
