Sewer and Storm Drain Cleaning
The University is soliciting bids from qualified licensed, bonded and insured bidders for cleaning and inspection of sewer and storm drain facilities on the University campus per the specifications below. The campus contains gravity sewer (est. 55,000 ft.) and storm drain main lines (est. 67,000 ft.). Annually, 35,000 ft or more of the sewer lines and 5,000 ft or more of the storm line are needed to be cleaned and inspected by CCTV. In addition, unknown amount of emergency sewer or storm line cleaning and CCTV inspection per year would require contractor to perform emergency cleaning or CCTV on sewer or storm pipes.
This contract is for the period from Date of award, 2009 or time of award through August 31, 2010, with University options to renew for an additional 4 years, one year at a time depending on market conditions, University need, satisfactory performance, funding and mutual agreement. This is a one (1) year contract, with 4 options to renew one year at a time, for a total of 5 years.
