The City of East Point is soliciting sealed proposals from experienced and qualified Service Providers interested in entering into a contract with the City for the Scope of Work identified in the official RFP documents. The purpose of the project shall be to identify, reduce and document the reduction of inflow and infiltration (I&I) and make necessary system improvements that shall include an increase in pipe sizing in the Citys 10 major focus areas.
The majority of repairs shall include raising manholes, lining manholes and lining pipelines. The quantities of repairs shall be determined after the system has been evaluated and the estimated I&I per defect is prioritized. The focus areas include more than 39 miles of sanitary sewer pipe ranging in size from 8-inches to 36-inches in diameter and more than 811 manholes. A Bid Bond of 5% of the total proposed price shall be required. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond of 100% of the Contract award shall be required.
