Service Slide Stainers
The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office (NCO), on behalf of Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Durham North Carolina, is conducting market research to determine interest for performing service on Slide Stainers for the Lab. Scope of work to include two (2) PM services/year and all unscheduled repair services for the Roche model Symphony slide stainer. The VA intend to issue a contract with a base year and (4) optional years. Equipment to be covered includes:
1. S/N 390255/VA ID# 558-EE70136
All Field Service Engineers (FSE) performing under this contract must be OEM trained and experienced in the service and repair of the Roche model Symphony slide stainer. In addition all FSEs must have full and unfettered access to all OEM service publications and diagnostic service software. Proof of experience and references must be provided if requested by the Contracting Officer and/or COR.
Services to include 2 PM services/year, all remedial repair parts, labor, travel, unlimited telephone technical support and software updates and patches required to maintain the equipment to OEM normal operating specifications. All parts provided must be OEM-new or warranted as OEM -new.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 811219 Size Standard: $20.5 M, and the Classification code is J065.
