Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Software
Download the rfp file: software.pdf.
The purpose of this Request For Proposals is to establish a contract to implement a core
technology in the form of a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) management tool for the
Application Services Group.
SOA is an application topology in which the business logic of the application is organized in
modules (services) with clear identity, purpose and programmatic access interfaces. When
properly executed, the SOA software offers a means by which we can cut down on the time it
takes to perform data integration of disparate systems as part of the development process thereby
saving significant development time and revenue. The SOA software will also allow us to manage
the hundreds of services we anticipate creating.
