Server-Side Web Development
The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to evaluate vendors who are able to provide server-side Web development services to Northwest Public Power Association (NWPPA). The Association desires to undertake a Web site redesign of its existing nwppa.org site. We are interested in collecting general information about development services to determine if they meet our general requirements and price constraints. If your organization's development services appear to be appropriate for NWPPAs needs, then an on-site meeting may be requested at a later date.
NWPPA would like to turn its current static Web site content into dynamic content served from the SQL Server database that powers its ClearVantage association management system (AMS). Bidders will need to suggest the most performant and secure approach to doing this, given that the database server is located at NWPPA and not at NWPPAs ISP hosting company. NWPPA would like to standardize its server-side pages using ASP.NET and to simplify site security.
NWPPA is interested in a fixed-price solution to its current server side Web development needs, as well as ongoing maintenance and support.
