The Department of the Navy (DoN) intends to negotiate a one-time sole source contract with, Devicor Medical Products, Inc. 300 E Business Way FL 5, Cincinnati, OH, 45241-2384, is the sole source provider in North America for the following Medical Equipment that meets DON's requirements:
1. Sentimag Black Transport Box, S126298
2. Probe Accessory Box, SAB
3. Sentimag Base Unit, SMB02
4. Probe Test Phantom, SMC02
5. SMA Sentimag Footswitch, SMFS
6. Sentimag Probe Holder, SMH02
7. Probe Holder Screw, SMHS
8. Sentimag Probe, SMP02
9. Power Cord G2 - US, SPC02US
The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106 (b)(1)(i).
This notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Website (www.fbo.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System Code is 339113, the size standard is 750 M
Based on market research conducted and contacts made with knowledgeable individuals within the government it has been determined DON's requirement can only be provided by Devicor Medical Products, Inc as they are the sole authority authorized to provide these products.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to this office by 3:00 pm, EST, 19 September 2019 by email to the attention of Erin Behrns, Contract Specialist, at erin.m.behrns.civ@mail.mil. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Telephone requests will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
