Sensitive Data Shredding Services
The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Salem VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 1970 Roanoke Boulevard in Salem, VA 24153 will be soliciting quotes for Sensitive Document Shredding Services. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, supplies, management and supervision necessary to perform Sensitive Document Shredding Services in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. The service will require the contractor to work with VA staff to properly manage the destruction of sensitive data to include paper documents, optical discs, magnetic tapes, and any other media that may contain information that is deemed sensitive by the Salem VA Medical Center and Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC s) located in Lynchburg, Staunton, and Wytheville. A request for Quote (RFQ) 36C24619Q1125 will be issued on or about September 9, 2019. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The estimated period of performance is October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020 (or contract award date to 1 year from contract award date) as the base period, with four (4) one (1) year renewal options that can be exercised by the Government. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process.
In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://sam.gov/SAM/. The applicable NAICS Code is 561210 Facilities Support Services with a Small Business Size Standard of $38.5 million. The classification code is R614 Support-Administrative: Paper Shredding. The solicitation will be issued as an Open Market Unrestricted procurement open to all vendors. All quoters are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
