The system must process books, magazines, videos, CDs and DVDs and provide web-based remote monitoring and diagnostics. System must accommodate barcode placements. System must automatically adapt to power level variations to prevent unwanted alarms. System must prevent customers from checking out more than one book under a single barcode and substituting items during checkout. System must include software to operate features of the system.
