Selection of a Vendor to Provide Web-based Software Development Services related to Developing a Web-Based Professional Development System
The University of Texas System Administration (University) is soliciting proposals in response to this Request for Proposal for Selection of a Vendor to Provide web-based application development Services related to developing a Web-Based Professional Development System for Reading Instruction for Reading First, RFP No. IPSI20081020 (this RFP), from qualified vendors to provide application development services (the Services) related to the development of a Web-Based Professional Development System for Reading Instruction (hereafter referred to as the PDS-RI). The Services, which are more specifically described in Section 5.4 (Scope of Work) of this RFP, include (1) development of a robust enterprise level search system for the existing Searchlight system; (2) develop a user interface that is easy for users to access and navigate; and (3) develop a new platform to serve as the web content management system that will allow extensive growth of the system over the life of the system.
