The Southern Region Student Wellness Conference (SRSWC) is an exciting multi-day experience designed to empower behavioral health professionals, administrators, educators, law enforcement and community-based organizations to create positive change on school campuses.
The SRSWC features nationally-recognized keynote speakers and engaging breakout sessions based on the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child framework which focuses on integrating health services and programs more deeply into the day-to-day life of schools and students which is an untapped tool for raising academic achievement and improving learning for all students. Breakout topics include health education services, physical education/activity, nutrition environment and services, family engagement and community involvement, employee wellness, physical environment, counseling, psychological, social/emotional climate and a few others.
This year's conference will be held on July 30, 2018 to August 3, 2018 at the JW Marriott in Palm Desert. To be considered as presenter, please complete the following survey by February 1, 2018.
