ROI Seeking Community Partners
Are you in a rural community doing an evaluation project or community benchmarking report? Are you willing to share your experience with others?
The Rural Ontario Institute (ROI) is looking to collaborate with community partners who are themselves trying to measure broader community impacts of a project or who are undertaking an effort to report on indicators of community well-being. The community would benefit by receiving some additional financial resources and ROI would in return expect to document and share the community's lessons learned and good practices with other rural stakeholders. Only a limited number of local projects can be selected as case studies or demonstration projects and they would need to be undertaken in 2016 and have a municipality involved. These partnerships would become part of the Measuring Rural Community Vitality initiative which is aimed at improving understanding of effective practices for quantifying rural civic engagement, social capital and community well-being."
